I like St Francis and I like the Bible but it felt a bit strange to see my daughter explaining the scriptures to the chickens.

She has this love hate realtionship with these chickens ( names- Thelma and Louise and Charlie chaplin) . She loves giving them her food scraps( some of which are not scraps but luscious veges from the garden!) , she sits on the compost heap daily for long amounts of time talking to them laughing at them. When she gets the chance she tries to get into their hutch and chases them. Whjen they have had enough of her, they woefully peck her and the tears are of pure devastation that these, her lovely friends could turn on HER. I love this girl!! Nyree
