Matt Stone's recent parachurch as church post got me thinking. Parachurch organisations are really one of the things that has kept me sane as Xn over the years and makes a really obviois thing to do as a churchless Xn. If your the kind of person who thinks churches spend too much time doing stuff that isn't really important then getting involved in a parachurch organisation could be just the tonic. Personally I've been involved with Drug ARM WA, Scripture Union and Tear at different times. Feel free to post parachurch organisations you've had good experiences with.
