I started this blog a confused gen exer trying to find a place in the Xn church. I'm still a confused gen exer but I feel like I've found my place. In many ways I suspect I've just become more comfortable about being on the edge of church and, care of the good folks who make up the church I currently call home, that edge feels very comfortable. This comfort is reflected in my lack of posts in recent times. So for the foreseeable future I'm going to call it a day. Thanks to everyone who has read any of the posts and to anyone who I've disagreed with or has disagreed with me just remember "heresy is just truth overstated".

I'm sorry to see this finish up for now Chris, but I'm glad it's because you're in good place.
You're one of a number of people whom I admire but have very little to do with - through no particular choice on either behalf. Thankfully there are enough admirable people who are actively in my life, that I don't miss out too much (: Bless ya, hope our paths cross again in future.
I feel I've lost a companion on the road, Chris! Your blog has been great, and I hope you feel inspired to come back to it, if only occasionally, and even if under a new name and identity. You were the one who explained what a blog was to me in 2003. You were way ahead of the pack!
Again, I hope you can blog from that position of a comfortable edge, because it could inspire the many people who have found your disaffection encouraging.
And I hope you know that for every commenter on your blog, there must be ten or fifty 'lurkers' who've been following you. You've had a big reach, engaged fearlessly with so many subjects, and shared generously about your journey.
